This project included a side and rear extension to Victorian property in Brixton involving a full refurbishment throughout. Bespoke timber panelling runs across the walls and ceiling, creating a warm, contemporary backdrop while complementing the exposed brickwork.
The brief was to create more space in this Victorian property in Brixton, and to completely refurbish the existing home. The design needed to feel contemporary, while complementing the character of the original property.
We built both a side and rear extension incorporating a bespoke glass box and roof to bring light deep into the new spaces.
Throughout the home, tiled floors were paired with underfloor heating, while ash timber cladding was used to create a warm and inviting snug. A bespoke kitchen was finished with oak veneer birch plywood doors and quartz worktops, bringing together natural materials and clean, contemporary detailing.
The finished home is a creates a calming home, the Victorian character complemented by modern architecture and carefully selected materials. The extension creates a generous amount of space and light, and the bespoke interiors and natural finishes give the home a warm, timeless feel.
